Significant Events on 10th Muharram (Ashurah)

 

1)  Repentance of Hazrat Adam (Alaihis Salam) was accepted by Allah.

2)  Hazrat Nuh (Alaihis Salam) and his followers were saved from the

     floods.

3   (a) Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam) was born.

     (b) He received the title of Khalil-Ullah (Friend of Allah).

     (c) By the orders of Allah, the fire into which he was thrown by

          Namrud (Nimrod) became cool and a means of safety for him.

4)  Allah removed Hyazrat Ayuub (Alaihis Salam) from distress and he 

     was restored to properity.

5)  Hazrat Imam Hussain Radi Allahu Ta'ala Ahnhu) was matyred in the

     battlefied of Karbala in Iraq.

6)  Allah created the heavens and the Earth.

7)  On this very day the Day of Jusdgement shall be established.

Significant Events in Rajjab

 

1) On the 1st of this month Hazrat Nuh (Alaihis Salaam) boarded the Ark. 

2)  On the 4th the Battle of Siffin took place.

3)  On the 27th nigh The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam) travelled from Masjid-e-Haram (Makkah) to Masjid-e-Aqsa (Jerusalam), then up through the seven heavens and to the throne of Allah (The Night of Ascension).

(Note: Islamic days begin at sunset and end at sunset the next day)

4) In this month Allah showers his blessings and opens the doors of forgiveness and He also accepts sincere supplications.

5) on the27th of this month Hazrat Umarwas victorious at Jerusalam.

 

 

SHAB'AAN

Significant Events in Sha'baan

 

1) On the 3rd of this month Hazrat Sayyedunah Imam Hussain (Radi Allahu Tala Anho) was born.Nuh (Alaihis Salaam) boarded the Ark. 

2)   On the 415th of this month is Shabe-Baraat(night of praise and blessings), when many muslims are forgiven by Allah. The Battle of Siffin took place.

3)  On the16th of this month Allah ordered the direction of the Qibla to be changed from Masjide-e-Aqsa ( Jerusalam) to Masjid-eHaram (Ka'bah) as per the desire of His Beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam).

Significant Events in Dhul Qa'idah

 

1) On the1st of this month Allah ordered Hazrat Musa  (Alaihis Salaam) to leave his followers for a period of 30  days, which was extended to 40 days, so that he could receive the holy book- The Torah.

2)   On the 5th Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis salam) and his son Hazrat Ismaill (Alaihis salam) started to rebuild the Ka'bah.

3)  On the14th of this month Allah ordered the Whale, that swallowed Hazrat Yunus (Alahis salam), to release him from it's stomach.

Significant Events in Ramadan-Al-Mubarak

 

1)  On the 1st of Ramadan the doors of paradise are opened and the doors of Hell are closed. Also the Large devils (shaytan) are shackled in chains until the end of the month.

2)  On the 3rd of this month a holy book (Shifa) was revealed upon Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) .

3)  On the 6th The Torah was revealed upon Hazrat Musa (Alaihis Salaam).

4)  On the 11th the Nikah ceremony of The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam) with Sayyedah Hafsah (Radi Allahu tala Anha).

5)  On the 13th The Injeel (Bible) was reveled to Hazrat Isa (Alaihis Salaam).

6)  On the 15th Imam Hasan (Radi Allahu tala Anho) was born.

7)  On the 17th of this month the Battle of Badr took place in which, angels were sent down th help The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam).

8)  On the 18th of Ramadan The Zaboor was revealed to Hazrat Dawood (Alaihis Salaam) .

9)  On the 20th of Ramadan, The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam) was victorious at Makkah (Mecca).

10)  On the 20th of Ramadan the holy city of Makkah was conquered by the muslims.

11)  On the 27th of Ramadan The revelation began on The Beloved Pophet (SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam).

12)  On the last dayof Ramadan Allah frees the same number of people from Hell as he has released at the beginning of Ramadan.

 

 

Significant Events in Sawwal

 

1) On the 3rd of this month is Eid-ulFitr, which is celebrated to mark the  end of Ramadan.  On this day:

  • Allah showers His blessings upon His servants

  • Allah inspird bees to make honey

  • Allah created paradise

  • Allah called Hazrat Jibrael Alaihis Salamto  take his revelations to his Messangers.

  • The magicians of pharoes (Firaun) repented for their sins  Hazrat Sayyedunah Imam Hussain (Radi Allahu Tala Anho) was born. Nuh (Alaihis Salaam) boarded the Ark. 

2)   On the 1st, Niakah ceremony of The Holy Prophet Muhammad (allallahu Alaihe Wassallam) with Khadija-tul-Kubrah (Radi Allahu Ta'la Anha) took place.

3) On the 4th the Nikah ceremony of The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wassallam) with Bibi Ayesh Siddiqah (Radi Allahu Tala Anha) took place.

4) On the 7th battle of Hunain took place.

5) On the 13th Imam Bukhari (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anho) was born (194AH).

6) On the 14th Hazrat Mujaddid-eAlf-eThani (Radi Allahu Ta'la Anho) was born.

7)  On the 15th battle of Khandaq (5AH) took place.

8)  On the 15th of Shawwal the Battle of Uhud took place in which Amir Hamza (Radia Allahu Ta'la Anho), the Uncle of the Messesnger (SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam) was Martyred (2AH).

9) From the 25th to the end of the Month, the foo

followers of Hazrat Aad (Alaihis Salam) were subjected to wrath and punishment of Allah.

10) On the 27th, the Niah ceremony of The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wassallam) with Umm-e-Salama (Radi Allahu Ta'la Anha) took place.

Significant Events in Dhul Hijjah

 

1) On the1st of this month Hazrat Fatima Zahrah (Radi Allahu ta'la Anho) married hazrat Ali (Radi Allahu ta'la Anho).

2)  On the 8th Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis salam) saw a dream in which he was ordered to sacrifice his son, Hazrat Ismaill (Alaihis salam). The following morning he pondered and wether this message was from Allah or Shaitan (The Devil).

3) The 9th of Dhul Hijjah is known as the 'Day of Arafah' because Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis salam) saw the same dream on this nigh confirming it waas indeed a direct order from Allah.

4) On the10th of this month, Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis salam) showed that he was willing to sacrifice his only son for Allah's sake. When Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis salam) was about to cut Hazrat Ismail's (Alaihis salam) throat, Allah ordered Hazat Jibrail' (Alaihis salam) to remove Hazrat Ismail (Alaihis salam) and place a ram from paradise beneath the knife.Hence the ram was sacrificed. It is for this reason that the tradition of sacrificing an animal on this day continues.

5) On the 14th the foundations of Masjid-e-Quba were laid by The Holy Prophet (Sallahu Alaihe Wassallam)

6) On the 28th of this month, Hazrat Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'la Anho) became the fourth caliph of Islam after the demise of Hazrat Uthman-e-Gani (Radi Allahu Ta'la Anho).
